The Meeting House

Ira's wife, Paula Resnick, with the support of Ira's foundation, founded The Meeting House afterschool program in the Fall of 2010 in New York City.

The Meeting House is a community based recreational afterschool program for children who need a greater degree of support and supervision to develop social, creative and academic skills along with their personal interests. Get more information about our program below.

“At the Meeting House we help children to develop their social and emotional selves in ways that will empower them throughout their lives. Our exciting programs offer a rich mix of ambitious activities for kids and tweens—guided by professionals and mentors. We are engaged in community enlightenment and activism through our annual symposium and ongoing information sharing efforts.”
